I’ve had my Sperti Fiji Sun for 8 years now. I use it every day and I am still using the same bulbs. The timer has had problems with sticking since I first got it, but the unit itself is still going strong. I bought replacement bulbs in the expectation of the old ones blowing out or losing intensity…. I have not had to use them yet. The unit is very well built with good solid materials.

Fantastic Product Like I saw mentioned here I first became interested in the chinese sunlamps you see online that sell for maybe $100. Then I saw the reviews: total junk. Then i thought I would get one of the used ones that all seem to come from Ukraine. The thing is that they are all used and who knows how long the bulbs will last, I finally bit the bullet and spent the money on the Sperti.
Well worth it. It really works (make sure to follow the instructions about very little time exposure the first month or so. I went up to 10 minutes pretty fast and then realized after about 4 days that I was getting sunburnt). So far am very happy I spent the money on the Sperti.

In the endless Minnesota winters, UV is in short supply for sure and you can really feel starved for UVA and UVB. This little lamp allows to get some UVA and UVB every single day! I love the flexibility of having it at home vs paying for a membership at a salon and having to drive there every day. I followed the timing instructions and the lamp has not burned me at all. I started when I was already tanned at the end of the summer. I hooked the lamp at the bottom of a mesh-shelf so that I can lay down and relax. That also allows the have the distance more precise and stable.
