Vitamin D and Covid -19

Since it began to surge across the globe in early 2020, scientists and public health officials have been scrambling to find a way to slow the spread of Covid-19. A commonality in many studies is the suggestion that the lower an individual’s Vitamin D levels are, the more likely it is they’ll contract Covid-19. In addition to this, those with low Vitamin D levels who contract the virus tend to have more severe symptoms.
